Basic Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinaigrette:
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper.
Lemon Garlic Dressing:
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tsp chopped oregano
- Salt and pepper
Caesar Salad Dressing:
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp anchovy paste
- 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
- 3/4 cup vegetable or olive oil
This recipe works really well if you have a hand blender. Process the egg, lemon juice, garlic, salt, mustard, anchovy paste, and Worcestershire sauce until creamy. Slowly add the oil while continuing to blend. As you blend, the mixture will thicken.
